Hyaluronidase Liquid 150 UI/ML

Hyaluronidase acts as a depolymerizing agent for glycosaminoglycans. It has a high enzymatic activity and acts as a diffusion agent for other ingredients. It acts directly on the elimination of water retention and on the reduction of fat accumulation. It exerts a restructuring action on connective tissue and rebalances skin affected by hydrolipodystrophy. When used properly and in high concentrations, hyaluronidase can rapidly dissolve swellings, lumps and nodules caused by hyaluronic acid injections that may have undesirable consequences. Treatment with hyaluronidase is not time consuming and not very painful.

When can hyaluronidase be used?

Hyaluronidase is used in more serious cases, i.e. when the patient feels disfigured or when granulomas have formed. These noticeable nodules are due to physical rejection. Hyaluronidase can mask the following symptoms
 

• Pronounced swelling
• Asymmetry
• Nodules and granulomas
   

How long does it take for hyaluronidase to take effect?

The hyaluronidase contained is much higher than the body's own enzymes. This means that the effect occurs within a few hours. It can be expected that the swellings and nodules will largely or completely disappear within 24 hours.
