Plasmolifting™ PRP-Tubes

Plasmolifting's PRP gel tubes can be used to perform vampire lifting therapy, which involves obtaining autologous plasma that can be reintroduced or injected into the body. More specifically, the tubes contain a thixotropic gel that separates the supernatant plasma/platelet suspension from the cellular components. In addition, a reliable barrier is formed during centrifugation to prevent mixing of the plasma with the red blood cells. Thus, autologous plasma with a very high therapeutic effect can be obtained. Plasmolifting PRP gel tubes contain sodium citrate as an anticoagulant, which prevents blood clotting and inhibits platelet aggregation. The centrifugation parameters recommended by the manufacturer are 4000 rpm for a duration of 5 minutes. This product is classified as a Class II a medical device.

Main features and advantages of Plasmolifting PRP tubes

• The material of the Plasmolifting PRP tube and the substances contained in it allow obtaining autologous plasma suitable for injection into the body.
• The patented separating gel forms a reliable barrier during centrifugation and prevents mixing of plasma and concentrated red blood cells.
• The yield of autologous plasma is 16-20% higher than with the previously used Plasmolifting PRP tubes.
• The centrifugation parameters recommended by the manufacturer are 4000 rpm and a duration of 5 minutes.
• The tubes are made of 3rd hydrolytic class glass.
• The shelf life recommended by the manufacturer is five years (however, it is recommended that PRP tubes be used within two years of the date of manufacture).
• The tubes contain sodium citrate as an anticoagulant.
• For the EBA 200 centrifuge we recommend the following centrifugation parameters: RCF =1760 g, speed = 4200 rpm, duration= 5 min.
• For the DLAB centrifuge we recommend the following centrifugation parameters: RCF =1760 g, speed = 4100 rpm, duration= 5 min.
