Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid with keratolytic properties. It reduces the cohesion of keratinocytes and facilitates the removal of dead and damaged skin cells. The goal of the treatment is to control the irritation of the epidermal skin layer and promote subsequent cell regeneration.
Being lipophilic, this acid penetrates deep into sebum-filled follicles and cleans clogged pores, resulting in acne improvement. With its keratolytic, bactericidal, astringent and fungicidal properties, salicylic acid is particularly suitable for the treatment of acne.
md:peel salicylic fights oily skin, acne, seborrheic skin, blemishes, skin impurities and premature aging. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles, imperfections and pigmentation.
