Novuma® CalHydra CaHa + HA
Novuma® CalHydra is an innovative filler duo that effectively combats skin aging – with an immediate lifting effect and long-lasting hydration. The combination of NOVUMA, a biostimulator based on calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHa), and REFREJ, a lightly cross-linked hyaluronic acid, enables a two-step skin regeneration therapy. While NOVUMA boosts collagen production to improve skin firmness and contour, REFREJ provides deep hydration and plumps fine lines.

Application
The application of Novuma® CalHydra takes place in two steps: First, calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHa) is injected deeply into the skin – typically subcutaneously or supraperiosteally – to build volume and stimulate collagen production. Then, a lightly cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) is injected more superficially to intensely hydrate the skin and improve its structure. An initial lifting effect is immediately visible, while collagen-based skin tightening develops gradually over several weeks with long-lasting results. The effect of CaHa lasts around 12–18 months, and in pure form up to 24 months; the HA component remains effective for around 6–12 months, depending on skin type and lifestyle. Typically, one combined treatment per year is sufficient, with optional HA touch-ups after 6–12 months if needed.
